R&D Center
A dance between the organic and engineered.
Typology - Urban Design & Masterplanning
Status - Ongoing

This R&D Centre amalgamates cutting-edge technology, parametric architecture, and biophilic design principles. Envisioned as a hub for scientific innovation, the project balances form and function with an organic sensitivity. The building’s glass and metal façade, inspired by the spiral DNA, symbolises the intricate interplay between nature and technology, embodying progress at every level.

At the heart of the centre is a terraced atrium, where a sanctuary of greenery and water features is designed to nurture both scientific discovery and employee well-being. This central space encourages collaboration while offering moments of reflection, bringing together the mind and spirit in a harmonious environment.

The concept of the state-of-the-art R&D centre revolves around the harmonious integration of nature and modern architecture, achieved through the use of natural materials and eco-friendly design elements like wall panels and green roofs, all of which aim to blend the built environment seamlessly with the natural world. The building’s pursuit of LEED Platinum certification underscores the shared commitment of both the architect and the client to the highest standards of environmental responsibility.

Parametric design informs every element of the project, using algorithms to craft adaptive geometries that respond to climate and light. This modern, data-driven approach ensures that the structure supports innovation and exists as a forward-thinking model of sustainable architecture.
