Wilton Housing
A new urban address
Location - Ludhiana
Typology - Mixed-Use Developments
Status - Ongoing
Wilton brings hospitality, retail, entertainment and residential apartments into one mixed-use development. Its architectural challenge lies in the relationship between these uses: how a destination that welcomes visitors can also provide a comfortable setting for everyday residential life.
The masterplan’s rendered composition establishes a change in scale from the highway frontage to the residential precinct beyond. Lower commercial volumes give the development a presence along the road, while apartment towers extend into the site, with landscaped spaces between them. The contrast gives each part a distinct character within a recognisable whole.
