It was conceived as a contemporary public square where commerce, hospitality and community coexist within a memorable urban experience. Inspired by the enduring character of historic Amritsar, the project reinterprets the city’s walkable streets, verandahs, courtyards and civic spaces to create a high street retail destination that is rooted in place while responding to contemporary lifestyles.
The retail layout follows the logic of an authentic high street. Rather than treating shops as isolated units, every frontage actively engages the public realm through shaded arcades, generous walkways and open gathering spaces. Larger anchor stores are balanced with boutique retail, creating diversity while ensuring continuous pedestrian activity throughout the development. Restaurants, cafés and leisure destinations are distributed across the masterplan instead of being concentrated in a single zone, generating activity from morning until late evening and strengthening the relationship between shopping, dining and social interaction.
